other functions and/or affiliates of EM) and externally (Co-Venturers, Tax Authorities, Regulator, Suppliers)Coordinate inspections and litigation cases, both directly and in coordination with outside counselsConduct trainings and prepare informative materialsWhat role you will play in our teamTax Advisor's primary role is to provide accurate and clear tax advice to the Tax Manager, to other colleagues in the Tax Team and to several internal clients.
Tax Advisor will also represent ExxonMobil Tax Team externally (e.g.
industry boards), engage with Co-venturers, suppliers, and authorities, and coordinate outside counsels in both administrative and judicial litigation cases.Location: Rio de Janeiro (Rio Sul Tower).About youSkills and Qualifications:Solid knowledge of Direct Taxes, including Transfer Pricing, and Upstream specific topics (Law #13,586)Solid knowledge of indirect taxes applicable to UpstreamDeep knowledge of Repetro and other Special Tax and Customs RegimesGood knowledge of Tax Reform Discussions (mains treats and opportunities to Upstream)Knowledge of basic regulatory framework: Concession and Production Sharing RegimesKnowledge of basic accounting rules and principles / tax accountingHigh proficiency in verbal and written communication, both in Portuguese and in EnglishTeam oriented with strong interpersonal skillsAnalytical skills and critical thinkingDegree in Law, Accounting, or Economics is requiredPreferred Qualifications/ Experience5+ years of experience in Upstream TaxKnowledge of Government Takes and ANP's regulationsKnowledge of UnitizationExperience in M&AKnowledge of Corporate LawAn ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
