**Job Role Summary**:
The APO Senior Business Analyst is responsible for providing design, support, and implementation of solutions for the Chemical Supply Chain business in the Supply & Operations Planning area.
**Job Role Responsibilities**:
- Specifics tasks & responsibilities_
- Resolve issues, design solutions, and innovate improvements for SAP APO DP solutions.
- Strong business process knowledge of production planning and scheduling process.
- Executes and tests appropriate configurations related to SAP APO module.
- Writes clear, complete functional specifications for the development team.
- Responsible for becoming completely familiar with the existing SAP APO design and enhancements.
- Strong working knowledge of master data requirements and setup which support these processes and solutions.
- Knowledgeable regarding integration points between SAP APO and other systems.
- Responsible for definition and acquisition of new requirements; works with stakeholders to define implementation timeline.
- Ensures coverage, execution, and remediation of test activities (e.g. unit, integration, user acceptance).
- Supports the development and delivery of training assets.
- Supports the deployment of production systems and provides post-production support.
**Expected Level of Proficiency**:
**Primary Skills Required**:
- Proven expertise in SAP APO (DP, CIF) solution implementation. Minimum of 5 years.
- Knowledge of SAP GATP and IBP modules.
- English fluency is required. The individual will work as a member of a global team.
- Experience writing Functional Specifications for custom enhancements and projects.
**Desired Skills or Experience**:
- Experience in SD/MM/PP modules of SAP ECC.
- Experience with SAP BW.
- Ability to debug ABAP code.
