Job Summary:
The Treasury leader is responsible for managing the organization's cash flow, carrying out banking operations, developing financial plans, and ensuring that funds are available for continued business operations in countries under its responsibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage daily cash balance, funding, and risk management operations within functional guidelines.
* Investigate variances in cash management results.
* Engage with banks and financial institutions to foster strong relationships.
* Manage bank relationships with financial institutions, ensuring delivery of current services while driving innovation to improve efficiency.
* Forecast cash payments and anticipate challenges arising from limited cash flow.
* Daily/weekly/monthly identification of FX exposures and propose risk mitigation actions (e.g., hedging) to the Controller, Regional Finance Director, and Corporate Treasury.
* Pursue month-end reporting activities and control cash and exposure.
* Coordinate delivery of corporate finance initiatives (e.g., dividends, capital injections).
* Evaluate compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures related to cash management.
* Support audit deliverables and financial statements preparation related to Treasury/cash management.
* Manage corporates cards programs in countries.
* Ensure strong control of all bank signatories across the region.
* Owning and guarding banking setup, including account openings/closures, master user access management, cost management, operational service quality from banks, etc.
* Other activities related to treasury or cash management.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
* Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance or treasury department.
* Experience working with external advisors.
* A proactive, innovative individual with problem-solving skills.
* Team player with enthusiasm and ability to learn quickly.
* Results-oriented.
* Proficient in Excel and management systems.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Financial software and ERP systems proficiency; experience with SAP.
* Ability to thrive in fast-paced dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Advanced English language skills for writing, reading, and conversation.
