Global Category Manager - Real Estate, Facilities & Security
**Job Summary**:
Kimberly Clarks Global Procurement Organization is leading a transformation agenda, increased levels of collaboration and a more strategic global approach to category management.
This approach enables focus on customers, moving fast, playing to win and standardization of Procurement categories and processes.
The role has category management responsibilities for Kimberly-Clark's purchase in **Real Estate, Facilities and Security Services** in North America and consulting-guiding for same in KC EMEA, LAO, APAC.
With a spend of approximately $280M this role will report directly to the Global Director Procurement - Professional Services.
- Develops and leads the execution of global Sourcing strategies.
- Collaborates seamlessly with regional Leaders to understand BU needs.
- Establishes strong connections with critical senior stakeholders.
Engaging & influencing them in the strategic Sourcing process, Procurement process compliance and efficient delivery of successful business outcomes.
- Ensures that K-C is leveraging its global volume and market position.
- Leads supplier relationship management & growing the partnerships with strategic suppliers.

**Responsibilities**:
- Develops/Leads/Influences Global Category Strategy, incorporating unique regional business needs and leading change management activities.
- Fully understands and leverages market dynamics and benchmarks.
- Drives simplification and promotes standardization of processes.
- Develop strategic supplier partnerships, which will bring business opportunities and innovation for K-C.
- Leadership & Relationship Management_
- Self-starter and team player.
- Excellent senior level/EVP stakeholder relationship management/engagement skills.
- Routinely provides accurate assessment of global risk and opportunities.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
Highly skilled in developing and presenting strategic content.

- Build or revise current global category strategy to reflect aggressive, calculated risk opportunities over 3-5 years.
- Engages category stakeholders to proactively understand demand or change.
- Ability to prioritize and create processes in a high volume/high impact spend area.
- Successfully promotes best practice sharing across regions.
- Negotiation Gold Standard_
- Understanding of market dynamics and benchmarking.

- Ability to work with complex categories and multiple stakeholders with diverse requirements/expectations.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement (2+ years in Professional Services Category preferred with experience in Real Estate and Facilities Management an advantage).
- Experience working in a complex globally matrixed environment.
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management.
- Self-motivated and assertive with internal and external contacts.
- Ability to influence with and without authority.
- Ability to reconcile diverse business strategies and challenges.
- Skilled negotiator / results oriented.
- Strong analytic skills.
- Skilled in Supplier Relationship Management.
- Skilled in fast-efficient completion of redline process between legal, other stakeholders and vendor.
