The principal purpose of this position is to apply professional project management skills to implement projects that support the business needs of Kemin.
The core responsibility of this position will be to manage multiple projects across all functional areas and ensure execution on time and in line with business needs to support the growth of the business.
This position may reside in product development, product application, or IT.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for reporting project activity progress and status.
Execute key strategic projects, activities, and action items.
Manage and guide project execution of change management and initiatives related to continuous improvement.
Manage project scope, deliverables, budget, goals, roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
Responsible for creating project plans (GANTT charts) and schedules that ensure task prioritization and project dependencies.
Responsible for tracking changes in project scope, identifying potential risks, and developing contingency plans.
Delegate project tasks and responsibilities.
Lead project team meetings and ensure follow-up actions are identified.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Accurately present findings in an appropriate and timely manner to allow the management team to make critical decisions based on key data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of related work experience.
PMP Certification or equivalent certification preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to communicate with a diverse group.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under time constraints as needed.
Strong analytical skills.
Must be proficient in English; multilingual is an advantage.
Advanced computer skills with experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Project or other project planning software.
