**The team you'll be part of**
The Customer Experience organization provides a common interface to customers including account and relationship management, acting as the voice of the customer internally and creating demand across our business groups. While bringing deep understanding of local markets for our customer, the CX organization ensures strong alignment between sales and delivery teams.
Part of our customer's experience is hosting events where we can meet our customer, find new opportunities, and show Nokia’s products in a context that our customers can understand their value for them. The events team within CX Marketing Operations manages these events. This role primarily leads the regional events in Nokia's Latin American region and also contributes globally to events around the world.
**What you will learn and contribute to**
As part of our team, you will:
- Act as a single point of contact leading the project for on-budget proposal, development, production, and delivery of events
- Select, manage, and maintain relationships with key vendors
- Setting, communicating, and maintaining timelines and priorities on projects
- Providing leadership, motivation, and direction to all support teams including marketing, security, IT, legal, travel
**Your skills and experience**
You have:.
- 5+ years of experience with public trade shows, large company sponsored events, private and virtual events where you have dealt with industry procedures such as drayage, exhibit houses, show services, housing lists, union rules as they relate to labor, I&D, audio visual, etc.
- College Degree in relevant field.
- Experience negotiating, developing and leading event vendor relationships
- Ability to conduct financial analysis and produce post-event reports
It would be nice if you also had:
- Knowledge of digital environments for virtual events, including tools, processes, webinars.
- Critical assumption planning and contingency planning
- Aptitude for marketing activities including strategy and business planning, global markets, competitive knowledge gathering, risk identification and landscape
- Excellent communications and presentation skills to interact with all levels of management and with external customers and clients. Tools include PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Sharepoint, and MS Teams.
- Strong understanding to translate customer journeys to social channels, engagement, and content strategies
- Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese
- Highly desirable for it to be in telecoms if possible.
