Role Description
We are looking for a skilled professional to join our Market Data Infrastructure team, focused on managing and resolving infrastructure issues and ensuring optimal performance of real-time data services. Eligible locations in LATAM: Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Resolving Data quality issues, this includes root cause analysis while managing internal and external vendors to resolve Data issues.
* Support On-call, incident management, problem and change managements.
* Ensuring optimal accuracy and timeliness of Data on a real-time basis while implementing monitoring tools to detect data issues.
* Work closely with regional and global Market Data Infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience to enrich the team's capability and work together to provide a high level quality of services on Market Data.
* L2 Alert Management. Management of alerts that require knowledge for resolutions, creating and/or updating resolutions into knowledge base, run books, scripts and ITRS rules where possible
* Incident Management. Managing of incident lifecycle from identification to resolution, ensuring mitigation of business impact in the production environment.
* Change Management. Management of the process of making production changes to the ticker plant like Mandatory updates which includes content, software changes/upgrades that are performed by vendors or internal teams where only checkouts are necessary.
* Others: Release Management, Event Management, User support, Reporting.
What We're Looking For?
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience
• Experience with Market Data Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform (TREP) or Refinitiv Real-Time Distribution System (RTDS) and DACS.
• Good understanding of Market Data platforms e.g. Refinitiv, Bloomberg, direct feed providers.
• Proficient with Linux/ Windows operating systems and network level tuning and editing scripts - preferred scripting language: Bash/Python.
• Experience with networking and connectivity skills e.g. multicast, routing, switches, TCP/IP.
• Good communication and oral and written English skills is a must
• Understanding of ITIL Foundation and IT Best practices
• Skills which are not mandatory but are advantage:
o Geneos ITRS
o EXEGY (formerly Wombat/Vela)
o Market Data API
o AWS ECS, AWS VPC, including VPC Endpoints
