As a Capital Modeling Specialist, you'll provide the technical expertise to support the capital management framework including its capital models and other technical tools.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the enterprise capital modeling including an internal stochastic capital model as well as rating agency and regulatory capital models.
2. Responsible for forecasting, scenario testing and stress testing surplus and capital adequacy.
3. Develop and maintain other capital management tools and processes including capital allocation.
4. Run ad-hoc analyses to support capital management requests and recommendations.
5. Maintain documentation of all capital management processes and tools.
Required Education:
1. Required: Bachelor's degree in an analytical field (mathematics, economics, actuarial science, etc.)
Total Work Experience:
1. Minimum Required: 2-5 years in capital modeling
2. Minimum Required: 5-10 years in financial analysis
English Proficiency:
1. Minimum Required: Fluent
Additional Qualifications:
1. Command of one or more programming languages including Python/R/SQL/SAS required.
2. Expertise in Excel required. Proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs required.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
4. Knowledge of capital modeling software preferred.
5. Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
6. Passion for continuous learning.
