This role manages specific sales territories (VIC, SA, TAS) working with our client's Retail Expert Partner (Installer) sales channel
- The role is to cultivate excellent business relationships as a 'business maker' and 'business developer' supporting the client's Retail Expert partners
- Communicate to customers the full scope of the client's products and solutions to meet customer business goals and achieve company sales objectives, including sales volume and market share
- The role also cultivates prospect Retailers to become the client's Retail Expert Partners within the territory
- This position shall report administratively and functionally to the National Installer (Retail) Channel Manager and/or any other employee as designated by the Management from time to time.
- The role has close ties with the Industrial (Fabricator) Sales Channel team
- The role is home-office based with all necessary support and tools as may be required
**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Grow business, to achieve defined sales target and profitability margins
- Formulate and implement sales and distribution strategies to increase business in the territory
- Build, develop and manage relationship with customers including undertaking regular business and performance reviews with the client's Retail Expert (REP) partners.
- Formulate appropriate service policy, negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales
- Evaluate strategies to approach new accounts and product profile, visit potential retail customers for new business
- Visit prospective customer to show samples or catalogs, and to inform them about product pricing policy, availability, and advantages.
An underlying driver of this role is to grow motorization rate at point of sale with the REP's (Retail Expert Partners).
- Handle customer requests and deliver excellent service and product knowledge
- Collect, update and analyse customers' data, competitors' and market movement including price, products, network and service to adjust plans or strategies to grow market share; utilizing fully SalesForce CRM tool
- Develop sales plans to introduce products in new markets
- Support Channel Manager's in developing and implementing sales forecast & plan to achieve sales target and overall business objectives
- Provide regular technical and non-technical training for the client's Retail Expert Partners, as well as technical and non-technical training support and services to other customers regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of our client's products, including connected solutions
- Represent the organisation at trade exhibitions, special events and demonstrations
- Advise on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
