The WWPS Global Lead Development (GLD) Team is expanding! Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a leader in Cloud Computing, is seeking diverse talent to join our team.
As a Lead Development Representative (LDR), you will play an important role within the sales organization, qualifying and generating leads, prospecting for new customers, and developing and executing sales campaigns. Working in collaboration with your global peers, marketing, account managers and partners, the successful candidate will:
1. Understand customer pain points, gather technical requirements and correlate business value to customer needs.
2. Generate interest and provide vision of the portfolio of AWS solutions to potential customers using written reports/documents and verbal presentations.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders and customers in-person out of our Arlington, VA Headquarters and virtually via telephone and teleconferences. This position has an in-office requirement of 5 days per week.
4. Understand existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing and update their knowledge about new services by demonstrating that they can learn and be curious.
5. Achieve monthly qualification goals and share them verbally and in written format.
6. Update and maintain customer information within Salesforce.com to include detailed call notes that illustrate a firm understanding of the opportunity with clearly-defined next steps.
7. Present a high level, technical solution to diverse audiences which include AWS colleagues, prospects and customers relevant to target industry or market.
8. Conduct research to stay informed, learn about existing markets and grow knowledge about new ones.

Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
2. Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
3. 1+ years of using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool experience.
4. 1+ year(s) of relevant Business to Business (B2B) or Business to Government (B2G) IT sales and prospecting experience via outbound campaigns.
5. Advanced written communication skills.
6. Speak, write, and read fluently in Portuguese and English.
7. Experience selling-to or supporting Public Sector customers and/or partners.
8. Experience using Salesforce (SFDC) or a similar CRM tool.
9. Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
10. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
11. Self-starter with highly developed interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
12. Results oriented and prepared to work in a fast-paced environment.
13. Ability to travel 10% of the time.
