Job title: Operational and IT Support Specialist - Betfair BrazilLocation: Sao Paulo, BrazilOverview of the role:As we continue to grow Betfair Brazil, there is a requirement for a natural problem solver to help out across various areas of the business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working across multiple business areas. There will be a blend of technical support, office management, HR admin, and supporting our leadership team.Our new Sao Paulo workspace is the perfect place for team collaboration and individual growth. It is located in the Paulista neighbourhood with great transport links across the city and an exciting working environment. This role will be part of our hybrid working environment with a blend of time in the office and from home.What you’ll do:Manage all incidents and requests to ensure that work is completed to the team members’ satisfaction.Address and resolve basic and complex incidents and requests; enter quality information into tickets and appropriately capture data; complete follow-up and follow-through on all support tickets.Contribute to self-help knowledge bases and document typical requests and incidents, resolutions, and work-around procedures.Responsible for hardware deployment and onsite support, including PCs, monitors, printers, and anything else deemed “IT Equipment”.Ensure inventory of equipment that is being deployed or recovered is recorded and updated with any changes.Manage contractor and vendor relationships and coordinate and monitor their activities, including organizing repairs and following through to completion.Plan and manage all workplace services.Liaise with landlords' agents and maintenance personnel.Raise purchase orders and reconcile invoices.Manage and coordinate meeting rooms and equipment as necessary.Deal with all FM-related administration.First Aid and Fire Warden duties.Support the HR department in day-to-day operations, including ensuring that all employees are accurately logging their work hours, attendance, and breaks into the HR system, and review employee time reports regularly to identify and address any discrepancies or missing entries, informing the HRBP of any issues.Support the preparation and maintenance of compliance-related documentation, such as health and safety records and audits.Assist with addressing basic employee inquiries related to HR policies, workplace issues, or benefits.Help organize employee engagement activities and assist with employee well-being programs.Coordinate medical exams for employees (hiring medical exam, return to work, exit medical exam, periodic health check-up).Welcome new starters and deliver local onboarding.Assist the Reward team to coordinate Vale Transportation, Food Vouchers, Childcare allowances, and general benefits-related inquiries.What you’ll bring:University degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent work experience.Hands-on experience in IT operations.Knowledge of IT hardware (desktops and laptops) and software systems, networks, operating systems (Windows, MacOS), as well as Android and iOS.Customer-focused, ability to manage internal users and service multiple requests.Initiative and follow-through ability.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong time-management skills and knowledge to focus consistently on both support and project-related tasks.Excellent problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal skills.Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.Some supervisory experience.First Aider and Fire Warden/Marshall trained.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.It’s ok if you don’t think you tick every box on this list.
