DescriptionJob SummaryOversee the front desk operations and provide friendly service to members and guests.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the supervisor in defining and implementing front desk objectives and procedures.Assist the supervisor in hiring and training front desk staff as well as conducting performance reviews with the front desk staff.Create and manage the front desk and maintenance shift schedules.Perform front desk duties such as greeting and welcoming members, checking members and guests into fitness and tennis facilities, booking courts and lessons, answering the phone, tending to questions/complaints and providing exceptional customer service.Ensure that the front desk, pro shop and reception area is kept clean and organized.Maintain front desk, office and building supplies and equipment, along with charging and coding of all invoices.Perform administrative duties such as updating records, completing racquets event and clinic billing and invoices, among others, as needed.Assist the racquets and fitness department in promoting events and programs through member newsletter, promo materials, email and bulletin boards.Knowledgeable in emergency and AED procedures, as well as know the procedure to follow in the event the alarm company needs.Familiar with and able to enforce all club rules and policies.Key Skills + Experience RequiredHigh school diploma or GED equivalentExcellent customer service skills and interpersonal abilitiesAmazing organization and time management skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks at onceProper grammar and speakingFluid use of automated point-of-sale and other technologiesProficient in Microsoft OfficeAble to work nights and weekends if needed
