About the role:
The Senior Manager of Sponsorships and Partnerships is a pivotal role within Diageo Brasil, directly influencing the brand positioning and consumer connection strategies for our key premium brands: Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Old Parr, and Tanqueray. This position is crucial for driving brand equity and visibility through strategic sponsorship initiatives that align with our business goals.
Position within Organization:
- Reporting Structure: The Senior Manager will report to the Head of Connections, ensuring a direct line of communication and alignment with broader marketing and business strategies. This positioning allows for seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing brands, media, digital, sales, and consumer insights.
- Collaborative Environment: This role will work closely with the marketing team to integrate sponsorship initiatives into broader marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency in messaging and maximizing impact across various channels.
Market and Functional Scope:
- Market Influence: The Senior Manager will be responsible for identifying high-value sponsorship opportunities within the Brazilian market that resonate with our target demographics. This includes assessing cultural events, festivals, and community initiatives that enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement.
- Strategic Partnerships: The scope of the role includes negotiating and managing partnerships with key stakeholders, including event organizers, influencers, and media outlets, to create synergies that elevate brand experiences.
- Consumer Engagement: By leveraging insights from market trends and consumer behavior, the Senior Manager will drive innovative sponsorship strategies that foster deeper connections and loyalty among consumers.
Level of Influence:
- Decision-Making: This role holds significant influence over sponsorship budget allocation, ensuring that investments are directed towards initiatives with the highest potential for ROI and alignment with brand values.
- Brand Equity: The Senior Manager will play a critical role in shaping the market perception of our brands through high-impact sponsorship activations, contributing to the overall growth and strength of Diageo’s portfolio in Brazil.
