The QA Lead (Manual) is responsible for overseeing manual testing efforts to ensure software quality and reliability. This includes leading a team of QA engineers, developing test plans, executing test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve defects. The role also involves fostering a growth-oriented environment, promoting professional development, and integrating automated testing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of manual QA engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
* Develop and maintain test plans, strategies, and test cases.
* Coordinate and oversee manual test execution and collaborate with the automation team.
* Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams for resolution.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align testing objectives with project goals.
* Establish and maintain QA best practices and processes.
* Provide regular reports on test status and suggest improvements.
* Identify and report potential risks and delays.
* Participate in requirement analysis, design reviews, and product demos.
* Contribute to continuous QA process improvement.
* Mentor and develop QA team members.
* Facilitate communication and collaboration with the Automation QA Lead.
* Identify opportunities for automation and outline potential candidates for automated tests.
* Serve as a people manager, fostering a supportive environment for team growth.
