As the Strategic Panning Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of driving growth and shaping the future direction of our business.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement comprehensive business strategies, including the three-year STRAP (Strategic Plan) and Annual Operating Plans.
You'll serve as the focal point for analyzing portfolio strategies, market trends, and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Developing and implementing the three-year business plan called STRAP and the annual strategic and operating plans
- Analysis Focal for Portfolio Strategy, Cross-Product and Portfolio Shaping Initiatives
- Support the strategic planning process through market analysis that will include peers, competitors, and customers and providing recommendations to strategy development
- Supporting the strategic marketing process from market definition, segmentation, and value proposition development and detailed financial analyses
- Gather, format, and process the market, financial and technical data necessary to screen and identify product strategies that leverage the breadth of HGR & HON capabilities in the region.
- Market analysis (TAM, SAM & SOD) by verticals, Connected Industry, Market Trends & Business drivers
- Gather market information, customer (VOC) and sales feedback and support product/solution specifications to better meet customer requirements
- Drive key initiatives for the region such as CE and Key accounts
- Support day to day activities and gather business performance data for High Growth Region and Corporate presentations
- Support day to day Business Development Director's activities
- Assist in the determination of growth areas and where to invest research and development dollars to grow within the market space, as well as identifying areas for targeted inorganic growth that will shape and balance Honeywell's
- Portfolio in the region.
- Facilitate teamwork across SBG's to meet business objectives
- Co-lead and execute Strategic Planning Process
- Analyze and track business pipeline and key opportunities
- Identify growth vectors and develop plans to penetrate them
- Work with Key Accounts
- Develop Presentations for Senior Leadership
- Conduct market assessments
- Conduct competitor assessments
- Develops studies of specific market segments
- Maintain demand model tools
- Customer segmentation studies
**YOU MUST HAVE**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field
- 5 - 8 plus years of Marketing or Business Analysis experience
- 5 - 8 plus years of experience in Data management skills
- Expert level financial acumen
- Good written and verbal communications skills in English and in Spanish
- The ideal experience base for this position would include a hybrid of strategic marketing and market development
- Must be an excellent broad-based business thinker who can collaborate effectively with peers and executive functional and senior business line leaders
