Role Summary The Sr. Financial Analyst, Media & Content Finance will serve as a member of the corporate financial team and will provide financial support to the SVP, Media & Content and other stakeholders throughout the organization.
This position reports directly to the Manager, Media & Content Finance.
The Sr. Financial Analyst, Media & Content Finance will be responsible for delivering value-added business analyses and reporting insightful financial and operational metrics that lead to sound business decision-making.
The Sr. Financial Analyst, Media & Content Finance will be responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of all key business drivers and creating financial models that enable the team to deliver meaningful analyses across the company, including consolidated and regional views.
He/she will understand Media & Content and each client's P&L drivers and will provide commercial insight to improve margins and operational efficiency.

Contribute to the planning processes for Media & Content efficiently and effectively by ensuring comprehensiveness, accuracy, and timeliness.Prepare monthly management reporting packages that provide value-added insight into the business; Deliverables include Monthly Results Reviews, Business Reviews, Customer P&Ls, analysis of key business trends, and actual versus budget variance explanations.Prepare analysis, commentary, and presentation materials for monthly and quarterly financial review meetings.Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed.Maintain relationships with FP&A and Media & Content commercial and operations teams to ensure quality deliverables and proper information flow.Work closely with accounting group to ensure appropriate reporting on U.S. GAAP basis.Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the Finance function.What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required3-5 years of finance experience, with an emphasis in complex organizationsAdvanced Excel skills requiredUpper intermediate English level requiredExperience with Hyperion and Oracle preferredProven track record of delivering on commitments and working effectively with peers inside and outside of FinanceAbility to develop detailed operational plansExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong critical thinking abilitiesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with others at all organizational levelsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentHigh level of professionalism, presence, and poiseAbility to create highly professional and effective presentations for senior leadershipStrong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to othersMust be a self-starter who understands both the details and larger context of various business issuesUnderstanding of accounting principles coupled with the understanding of the business drivers and how they drive behavior and profitabilityThis Might Be the Right Place if You….
