The FX Settlement AVP is a critical position for the FX business considering settlement volumes, product criticality, seniority to approval payments (High amounts) and recent regulatory changes. The FX Manager is a senior management level position responsible for managing and leading the FX operations processing team. Responsible for international payments and lead Settlement Projects and Sanctions screening analysis.Responsibilities:Ensure timely FX booking and settlement meeting SLAs, policies and predefined thresholds;Check and approve SWIFT Messages (MT103/MT202);Process all steps of FX ensuring the smooth running of transactions;Maintain close interaction with the business to identify opportunities in terms of customer experience and operational flow improvements;Minimize bank risk, provide solutions to reduce errors, and ensure adherence to audit and control policies;Escalate in a timely manner and resolve all requests/inquiries/issues/errors and identify policy gaps to formulate policies to streamline processes;Provide informal guidance and/or on-the-job training to new team members;Keep all internal FX procedure manuals up to date; ensure timely MCA/QAP deliverables meeting SLAs.Qualifications:5-8 years of relevant experience in FX Settlement including strong knowledge in SWIFT and international payments;Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills;Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus;Control oriented;Innovation mindset;Management skills;Able to work with tight deadlines;Strong communication skills to contact clients, business, and global teams.Education:Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience;This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
