Danfoss is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Payroll Specialist who is ready to take on new opportunities in a huge project regarding Payroll and Benefits in our Region.
This position will provide support direct support for: payroll management, including data maintaince, calculation and payout of salary and other employee related payments, benefits administration, HR auditing and reporting, compliance will all applicable policies and procedures for our offices from Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Colombia.
So, in this role, you will work in a team-oriented environment and will have exposure to many different process and tasks.
The Payroll Specialist will join our local HR Team based in Osasco, São Paulo, reporting directly to the HR Manager for South America.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Responsible for payroll process and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, each country labor laws;
- Extract and submit payroll outputs (provisions, statements, salary statements, bank files, mandatory accounting reports) for responsible areas;
- Prepare and to submit monthly data for upload payroll system;
- Run payroll calculation steps one time and free errors
- Ensure accurate and timely payrolls, process improvement, data integrity and systems synchronization;
- Execute and manage employee inclusion, termination and transfers in payroll system and synchronization between Danfoss database, ensuring data are complete and updated;
- Ensure that all extraordinary requests have been completed before payroll calculation;
- Ensure compliance with legal obligations and that all legal reports have been correctly submitted, as well as, quality of reports sent to accounting;
- Responsible for design work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures for all topics related to payroll;
- Support employee relationships in each location.
**Background & Skills**:
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or another relevant academic background is required;
- Experience in HR Projects and Process Improvement;
- Strong knowledge at Payroll system, implementation and parameter setting (preferably ADP);
- Knowledge in basic accounting to manage financial reports;
- Ability to manage the time and meet deadlines, with high level of accuracy;
- Strong knowledge on labor laws;
- Good spoken and written communication skills;
- Advanced level of English and Spanish language;
- Excel advanced;
- Excellent interpersonal relations and customer-focused service orientation;
- You have a global mindset and outstanding communication and presentation skills to efficiently communicate across all levels in the organization.
