Our interdisciplinary team of engineers makes use of what’s best in the technology world - combining hardware, firmware, backend, frontend, machine learning, and mobile development - to provide exceptional surveillance solutions to our clients. Our systems process and aggregate information from multiple sensors (IoT Sensors) in near-real-time in order to produce a final verdict (also known as “sensor fusion”) and, if necessary, deter intruders and alert our customers about any unexpected activity.We are looking for someone with a background in Electronics Engineering or similar and proven experience in developing hardware to join our Hardware Team.When you join us, you will:Work alongside our hardware team developing innovative products and proof of concepts (PoCs)Collect product requirements for existing and new projectsDesign and build hardware solutions (components selection, schematic drawing, board design, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting)Collaborate on research and testing of new solutions that will be applied to our productsWork on a multidisciplinary team with a dynamic profileWhat we'd like to see in a candidate:Strong knowledge of Electronics and Hardware DevelopmentBe eager to learn new tools and technologies in order to increase the quality of our process and productsGood written and verbal communication skills in English and PortugueseWork remotely with minimal supervisionGood collaboration skills: able to listen to and give feedback about ongoing activitiesBe available to work on-site at our Porto Alegre office as needed for project demandsYou will receive extra points with:Knowledge of sensors and instrumentationKnowledge of programming languages such as C, Python and RustExperience with KiCadExperience with wireless communication and RF (Radio Frequency) ElectronicsExperience with Linux and Embedded Systems
