The Business Unit Director for IMMY Brasil holds a strategic and distinctive leadership role, tasked with establishing and managing operations that drive revenue growth and market expansion, ensuring the effective delivery of innovative fungal diagnostic solutions to the Brazilian Market. In addition to leading sales efforts, this role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization, overseeing all aspects of IMMY Brasil’s operations including logistics and team leadership. A key focus will be fostering and maintaining the unique culture, ensuring organizational values and principles are upheld in every aspect of the business.
Key responsibilities include achieving ambitious sales targets, managing, and strengthening relationships with distributors and partners. Experience in leading and managing a sales organization and warehouse operations, preferably within a healthcare or diagnostics context, and identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, and accountability for P &L for IMMY Brasil. The Director will collaborate with IMMY’s teams, including marketing, business development, product development, and regulatory affairs, to ensure the successful launch and adoption of IMMY's products in the Brazilian market.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the Brazilian market, a strong background in the medical diagnostics industry, and a proven track record of achieving significant sales growth. This role demands exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
Ultimately, the Director will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to improve global health outcomes by providing accessible and accurate fungal diagnostic solutions to healthcare providers and patients in Brazil.
Key Responsibilities
Leading:

* Planning and Organizing: Managers are responsible for organizing and planning team projects. This involves guiding the team to break down larger goals into achievable tasks, setting timelines, and allocating resources effectively.

Accountability:

Sales & Marketing Strategies:
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive commercialization strategy aligned with IMMY Brasil’s overall business objectives. Build and lead the unit towards achieving ambitious revenue targets and market penetration goals.
* Market Expansion: Lead the team to identify and evaluate new market opportunities within Brazil. Work with our partners and distributors' Business Development Teams to develop market entry strategies, taking into consideration logistics, local regulations, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
* Customer Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners. Work to ensure consistent and exceptional customer experience.
* Sales Performance: Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and recommend adjustments to strategies as necessary. Develop and implement sales forecasts, budgets, and KPIs to track progress and measure success.
* Collaboration: Collaborate closely with teams including distributors and collaborators, IMMY’s product development, business development, marketing, and CML operations within IMMY Brasil to ensure seamless product launches, optimal inventory management, and effective communication of customer requirements.
* Compliance and Ethics: Ensure that all Brazilian sales activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Foster a culture of integrity and compliance within the organization.
* Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market developments, and strategic initiatives. Present clear and concise information that supports data-driven decision-making.
Operational Management:
* Oversee the daily operations of the IMMY Brasil facility, including laboratory, warehouse, and office activities, to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Develop and maintain operational protocols to support product storage, handling, and distribution.
* Collaborate with CML distribution warehouse company to optimize logistics and product distribution processes, as well as inventory management and order fulfillment.
* Ensure the IMMY Brasil office operates smoothly, including administrative tasks and facility maintenance.
Minimum Requirements:
* Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales leadership roles within the IVD or medical device industry within Brazil.
* Strong understanding of global healthcare markets, distribution networks, and regulatory requirements.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire geographically dispersed teams to achieve ambitious sales targets.
* Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
* Bilingual in Portuguese and English is required.
