Site Leader Job Description
The Site Leader plays a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of operations and functions at the site. This includes managing and leading a team of Operations and Area Managers, as well as coaching and mentoring them to ensure performance objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement quality initiatives, process improvement initiatives, and Lean strategies to drive business success.
* Oversee overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience of Inbound, Processing, or Outbound operations.
* Define and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers, measure their performance, provide feedback, and hold them accountable.
* Leverage Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and developing ideas and integrating them into improvement plans.
* Ensure best practices are shared across departments, shifts, and the network.
* Collaborate with support teams to secure necessary resources for projects and initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Experience leading people and shop floor operations.
* English knowledge for communication (oral and written).
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics.
