Discover a workplace where your talents thrive, and your contributions make a lasting difference.Position: Transportation Project ManagerResponsibilities:Responsible for client satisfaction and relationship management to exceed client expectations and enhance the overall client experience.Provide clear and consistent communication to both internal and external clients on performance and project status.Develop and review the project scope and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) for all assigned projects.Serve as a project manager and project engineer on projects and as a designated client contact, modeling efficient project management processes to less experienced staff.Prepare and direct the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and designs for projects.Prepare and develop project proposals, estimating engineering costs, determining necessary engineering disciplines, and forecasting total resources required for the project.Monitor project budgets and has overall responsibility for the profitability of the project.Control work-in-process, ensure accurate client billings, and monitor outstanding accounts receivable and collection efforts on projects.Monitor projects throughout all phases to ensure schedule and budget compliance.Attend client meetings, communicating concerns and changes to ensure a positive relationship.Interpret and comply with all governmental requirements, ordinances, and permitting.Author and publish social media posts on innovation, technology, or project highlights.Actively participate in industry organizations such as ASHE or ACEC.Administer Client Savvy or ECMS surveys throughout the year.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Transportation or related discipline.7-10 years of experience in the transportation industry, with 5+ years in the management and delivery of high-profile projects for major transportation clients, emphasizing PennDOT and PA Turnpike Commission.Professional Engineer (P.E.)
