What You’ll Do:Help design and build an internal AI chat assistant that:Ingests structured and unstructured data (PDFs, internal docs, web content)Powers accurate, contextual Q&A via retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)Connects to internal systems (Slack, CRM, SharePoint, etc.) to surface knowledgeUse the Azure AI stack — including Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, Blob Storage, and B2C — to build a secure, HIPAA-compliant assistantBuild and maintain APIs and background services for ingestion, vector storage, querying, and response generationCollaborate with product and engineering to integrate the assistant into day-to-day workflowsIterate quickly: prototype, test, refine, and ship improvementsEnsure scalability, maintainability, and secure data handlingWhat We’re Looking For:3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or backend software developmentSolid understanding of LLMs, NLP pipelines, and document processingHands-on experience with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic KernelStrong skills in Python or .NET (or both!)Familiar with Azure tools (OpenAI, Cognitive Search, Blob Storage, B2C)Comfortable working with vector databases (Weaviate, Pinecone, Qdrant, etc.)Knowledge of security and compliance (HIPAA familiarity is a plus)Bonus: Experience with frontend frameworks (React/Next.js) or chatbot UIsWhy AMX Healthcare?Be part of a greenfield AI initiative with direct business impactWork closely with engineering leadership and cross-functional teamsFully remote, async-friendly cultureCompetitive compensationBrazilian candidates encouraged to apply!
