**Responsibilities**:
- Work proactively to ensure team interactions are effective, collaborate productively with and influence the project team, peers and all levels of management
- Drive and execute the development of roadmaps, planning, decision-making, budget management, communication, coordination, and tracking of activities to meet key milestones using deep strategic and tactical project management expertise
- Ensure timely delivery of informatics infrastructure while collaborating effectively with stakeholders and technical teams to keep the focus on scientific impact; understand requirements, keep multiple projects or workstreams on track, and identify and resolve critical path activities.
- Proactively diagnose, navigate, and collaboratively resolve project disconnects, issues and risks
- Implement strategies to remove roadblocks and prioritize actions with the team; hold stakeholders accountable
- Create complex documents, presentations, dashboards, and websites, as well as develop communication strategies
- Organize and facilitate complex sessions and meetings with stakeholders.
- If necessary, work with a change manager
- To ensure programs deliver their intended value, develop measurement strategies and take a broad view of cross-functional activities in order to raise and leverage interdependencies
- Your focus is on delivering incremental value and impact, rather than perfection, and you thrive in a fluid environment
**We are looking for someone with**:
- **An undergraduate degree, master's degree, or doctoral degree in computational biology, bioengineering, or a related field**, including molecular genetics and genomics is preferred.
- **+5 years of experience** managing complex projects or programs for diverse stakeholders, particularly in the science, data, or IT fields
- Fluency in **English**. A good understanding and ability to communicate in English are required for this position.
- Proven **experience with Agile and waterfall methodologies** (e.g., Asana, Monday Smartsheets, JIRA, Trello, Google Suite, data visualization, etc.)
- Motivated to help team members, users, and department stakeholders achieve their goals by clearing roadblocks and proactively seeking creative solutions to challenges
- Ability to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment with outstanding leadership and collaboration skills
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences, including scientists, technical colleagues, decision-makers, and leaders
- The ability to synthesize, simplify, and communicate high-volume, complex data in a way that stakeholders and leadership can use to make informed decisions
- Results-oriented and comfortable moving concepts and actions forward across domains in an ambiguous environment
- Understanding of biotech research
