**Reports To**:

**Position Summary**:
- Manage and grow sales within the assigned territory by building strong relationships with key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving revenue targets.
The role requires a deep understanding of the respective market, including business culture, regulatory environment, and market trends.
- Responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support, conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
**Key Accountability**:
- Strategize and direct the execution of commercial initiatives for the region to ensure effective delivery of key deliverables and respective revenue targets.
- Responsible for negotiating and contracting with Business Partners: Travel agents, TMC's and Corporate Accounts
- Manage the MAB GSA team across the market/region, working with them to deliver the strategy and relevant activity.
- Monitor, analyze and review the region's sale performance, routes profitability, cost of sales and industry performance indicators to ensure any performance gaps are rectified in a timely and efficient manner.
- Build and maintain goodwill and relationship with the Travel, Media, Corporate Business Partners, Tourism Boards, Local authorities, Consulate/High commission and attend industry functions on a regular basis to establish contacts, network and promote the interests of the airline.
- To lead and coach team members within the region to ensure both commercial and operations action plans are executed effectively and seamlessly.
- Managing operations including approvals of all on-ground activity/implementations through appointed General Sales Agents to ensure smooth operations in most cost-effective manner.
- Responsible for recruiting and managing staff (direct or under GSA payroll), including performance monitoring, and possible mentoring and training.
- Managing clients in all markets to effectively communicate policies, direction and mitigate resistance.
- Oversee all administrative functions including representing the company at various government agencies, legal entities, vendors etc as and when required.
**Qualifications & Working Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with a focus on Sri Lanka market.
**Area of Experience**
- Strong understanding of Sri Lanka market and corporate sector, including business culture, regulatory environment, and market trends.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales pipeline.
- Managing GSA operations would be an added advantage
