Handoff has established itself as the market leader for construction pricing data and integrations with the top construction materials suppliers. Our in-person team operates from three global offices (Austin, Texas; São Paulo, Brazil; Buenos Aires, Argentina) and comes from top technology companies such as Apple, Tesla, and WeWork.
As the Director of Sales & Go-To-Market at Handoff, you will:
* Build and Lead a Local Team: Recruit, onboard, and mentor high-potential local talent for sales, customer success, and go-to-market roles. Develop a feeder system to identify talent through local universities, startup communities, and professional networks. Coach and scale your team into roles like Account Executives and Customer Success Managers.
* Drive Sales Execution: Lead your team to exceed aggressive revenue targets while establishing and managing a strong sales pipeline. Collaborate with Handoff’s leadership team to create and refine sales playbooks tailored to the local market. Train your team to execute sales strategies consistently and effectively.
* Become a Product Expert: Gain a deep understanding of Handoff’s product to confidently train your team and enhance customer engagement. Translate product knowledge into compelling sales strategies that drive adoption and satisfaction.
* Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Buenos Aires office, including selecting office space, managing vendors, and handling budgets. Foster Handoff’s unique culture within the office, creating a collaborative, growth-oriented work environment.
* Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with marketing to localize campaigns and drive lead generation efforts. Work closely with the customer success team to improve client retention and satisfaction.
* Adapt and Thrive: Solve challenges independently and efficiently, leveraging resilience and resourcefulness in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
About You:
* Experience: 7+ years of experience in sales leadership, including 3+ years leading sales teams for software products, ideally for US-based technology companies.
* Talent Development: Proven ability to recruit, train, and mentor high-performing sales teams. Experience building and scaling teams from local talent pools.
* Sales Expertise: Deep understanding of sales processes, metrics, and tools, with a proven ability to drive and exceed targets.
* Product-Minded: Strong ability to understand and communicate product value. Comfortable translating product knowledge into effective sales strategies and training programs.
* Operational Leadership: Comfortable managing office operations, handling vendor relationships, and independently overseeing budgets and logistics.
* Adaptability: Thrives in a high-growth startup environment. Demonstrates resilience, resourcefulness, and the ability to adapt to change.
