Develops and deploys vision and approved plan for her/his category and provides input to the Procurement Director when implementing Global/Regional plan. Responsible for category strategy development to deliver maximum value. Defines and leads (regional/global) cross-functional procurement teams. Develops and manages relationships with key suppliers and tracks their performance (Supplier Relationship Management). Manages relationships with internal stakeholders during projects. Ensures Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Extensive contact and close cooperation with internal stakeholders;
* Leads and participates in cross-functional teams;
* Works in close cooperation with Sourcing analysts and Contract Managers;
* Works in close cooperation with local buyers/purchasing assistants;
* Coordinates functionally with other Global/Regional Category Managers;
* Extensive external contact with suppliers.

You Bring
* Experience in negotiating long-term raw material supply contracts, preferably within the fertilizer industry;
* Graduation preferably in business administration, commerce, engineering, or other relevant disciplines;
* In-depth knowledge of Procurement processes (strategic and operational) in a business-to-business context;
* Very good knowledge of negotiation skills and contracting tools;
* Very good knowledge of English; any other language is a plus.
