**The Work You’ll Do**:
The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the sales team in the region. The field marketing manager will act as a liaison between marketing and inside, alliances and field sales teams as well as central demand function for the region, working with the greater Sovos demand function to execute effective programs.
The Channel Marketing Manager will assist in the development of marketing plans for the region, consisting of multi-touch, multi-dimensional programs including both inbound and outbound tactics and manage vendor contracts and relationships.
**_More specifically, you will:_**
Develop and implement pipeline acceleration programs in conjunction with sales channels
Research, choose, design and manage live events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix and ensure there is a cohesive strategy before, during and after the event to increase engagement and response rates
Interact with business channels to determine their enablement needs and work with product marketing to develop tools, programs in a box, training and content
Predict, measure, analyze and report on the impact of channel programs
Proactively engage with channel sales teams to coordinate, communicate and optimize the impact of marketing activities
Evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to the local demand creation programs, including venues and event services, digital marketing agencies, designers and copywriters.
Communicate and educate the business channels team on new and planned marketing campaigns, including global, regional and local programs
Create relationship process with business channels in order to increase pipeline generation and sales conversion
Execute all necessary campaigns, including online and in-person events, to support the sales channel in generating pipeline and new business.
Follow up and manage the opportunity generation process with the business channels.
**What We Need From You**:
Seven or more years in B2B marketing
Three or more years of channel marketing leadership experience
Proven experience working with sales channel teams and supporting programs to increase awareness and sales; real-world experience in sales-driven marketing, particularly pipeline management, is highly desirable
Ability to demonstrate a track record of success in all major areas of responsibility
Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to market changes and organizational requirements
Ability in analytical management and experience in interpreting numbers into strategies
Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget
Ability to align tactical plans with strategies
Experience in inbound marketing strategy/execution
