IHI's mission is to innovate and lead transformational improvement in health and health care worldwide.Position Summary:As an integral IHI team member, the Project Manager is responsible for working with a team to plan and successfully implement a set of projects. This includes the day-to-day management of all operations and interactions within a given project. The Project Manager works closely with internal IHI teams, faculty, and customers (individuals and organizations) to ensure delivery of the most effective and efficient programs and services to drive the improvement of health and health care outcomes worldwide.Position Responsibilities:Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Design, develop, and drive program workplans to achieve desired resultsEnsure the delivery of high-quality work products in a timely mannerPlan, implement, and monitor all project workstreamsDevelop and manage project budgets to meet financial goalsProduce budgetary reports to IHI management, including escalation and problem solving to meet current and future objectivesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to manage and improve standard organizational processes, such as faculty contracting, accreditation, and results reportingCollaborate with faculty and other project staff to design and revise content offerings and supporting materialsPlan project activities, including in-person meetings, teleconferences, and web seminarsBuild and proactively manage relationships with customers, partners, funders, and facultyProactively serve as the communication link between project teams (directors, faculty, improvement advisors, IHI staff), IHI Management, customers, and other IHI departments on progress, risks and mitigation strategies, and successesOversee knowledge and document management processes for projects, including connecting across the organizationAct as a "steward of improvement";
