Key responsibilities
* Assist the Sr. Event Coordinator in organizing and executing virtual and in-person events across 6 countries (Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Mexico, Colombia).
* Manage event logistics, including venue setup, attendee communication, and material preparation.
* Support with vendor coordination (catering, venues, audiovisual equipment, designers, etc.).
* Provide on-site or virtual assistance during events to ensure a smooth attendee experience (registration, welcoming, activations, swag distribution, surveys).
* Promote events through tech community digital channels (Slack, Discord, Telegram, etc.).
* Collect and organize post-event feedback to contribute to reporting and improvements.
* Maintain and update the community and interest group database to optimize event outreach.
* Collaborate with internal teams to identify community involvement opportunities.
* Travel to events as required and assist with event execution and logistics.
Main skills and qualifications
* 1-2 years of experience in event organization, community engagement, or similar roles (preferred but not required).
* Currently enrolled in a degree program in Events, Public Relations, Marketing, or related fields.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Spanish and English.
* Ability to multitask and effectively manage competing priorities.
* Creative thinker with a passion for events and community engagement.
* Enthusiastic team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
* Independent and proactive with a self-starter attitude.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual event platforms.
* Willingness to travel to Latin American countries and participate in events during the evening if needed.
* Experience working with vendors, logistics, or promotional activities is a plus.
