**Responsibilities**:
- The opportunity Reporting to the Head of People, you will be responsible for leading the People Advisory and Services function in for Bupa Villages and Aged Care and ensuring that the team deliver outstanding service across the various channels of support.
This role is accountable for ensuring delivery of high-quality people support and advisory services, including tier 1 and tier 2 HR support, the efficient and effective administration of people systems and processes and contract administration.
Leading a team of People Advisors and People Services Administrators, you will drive a high-performance culture by fostering and recognising great performance by setting clear expectations, giving regular quality feedback to create a culture of support, fun and flexibility.
This is a Permanent Full Time opportunity and can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane with flexible hybrid work option available.
How will I help?
Key accountabilities include:
- Developing, coaching and mentoring the team of People Advisors and Services Administrators to achieve SLA's and ensure a great experience for all stakeholders.
- Developing our people by ensuring all team members have a targeted development plan in place
- Ensure the achievement of service SLA's for managers and employees, and act as an escalation point for the team in relation to generalist people enquiries including policy, employment and industrial relations and process
- Identify opportunities to improve and standardize existing people policies, processes and documentation
- The overall management of accurate employee data input within Workday, including routine reporting and actions taken to reconcile data accuracy and system auditing.
This includes the appropriate triaging of requests for the team and the provision of support as necessary
- Maintain an advanced understanding of Bupa HR policies and practices to ensure that services meet acceptable governance and compliance requirements.
- Work collaboratively to develop seamless ways of working with other areas of the people function and other functional stakeholders locally to ensure end-to-end processes meet the expectations of our employees
- Liaising with the central digital team in the creation and management of all operational work instructions, including updating knowledge base and recommending changes for continuous process improvement

What do I need?
- Experience in leading teams
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or an associated discipline
- Experience in a HR officer/Advisory (at a minimum) level role within a large complex organisation
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Experience using data to drive decision making
- Working knowledge of Industrial and Employee Relations
- Experience using a HRIS system, preferably Workday
- Experience coaching leaders and employees on people process, systems and policies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
