Latin America - The Latin America Region of Teleflex is headquartered in Morrisville, North Carolina, and supports our customers, distributors, sales managers and specialists in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Argentina and Puerto Rico. Position Summary
The Brazil Commercial Director directly leads and develops sales teams, processes, colleagues and efforts in order to achieve the planned sales quota assigned for the country through customer centricity and focus, forecast planning, market development and teamwork with other areas in Teleflex; always aligned to Teleflex Core Values as well as established policies and procedures.
1. Responsible for budget and projects of growth, sales and profitability of Teleflex operation in Brazil.
2. This position leads, coordinates and motivates the sales force, in addition to interacting and leading by influence with the different functional areas, such as finance, operations, logistics, portfolio, demand and forecast to achieve the planned sales country goals.
3. The Commercial Director in Brazil drives growth and market plans and strategies, defining objectives according to the product lines and strategy for the region.
4. This position strengthens business relationships with our strategic allies and implements new strategies that allow the development of new sales channels.
5. The Commercial Director in Brazil drives the performance of each team as well as monitors and develops professional relationships with the different areas of the company.
6. This position is also responsible for alignment with other key functions such as Order to Cash, Tender Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Contract Management and Customer Service to achieve growth and sales goals.
Education / Experience Requirements
1. At least 5 years of experience leading operations preferably in medical device companies and demonstrate experience leading teams in top-tier organizations.
2. Dynamic and result-oriented.
3. English proficiency at an advanced level, the position requires verbal and written communication in English.
4. Professional in business or management with an MBA or postgraduate degree.
5. Extensive knowledge of the medical device market in Brazil. Knowledge of clients, channels and framework agreement.
6. Knowledge in Brazilian Regulations, Fiscal and L&D local processes is a plus.
7. Experience living in other countries is an advantage for this position.
8. Solid management skills.
9. Sensitive to different cultural norms.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
1. Fluent in Portuguese and English. Spanish is an advantage.
2. Strong communication skills (verbal and technical writing).
3. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
4. Orientation to teamwork, problem solving ability, customer focus, and a commitment to quality.
5. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
6. Experience working with web-based platforms.
7. Ability to work with diverse environments and teams.
8. Adaptable to change.
