The Latin America Region of Teleflex supports customers, distributors, sales managers and specialists in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Argentina and Puerto Rico. The region sells a broad spectrum of medical devices and related products in the fields of vascular and interventional access, surgical, anesthesia, cardiac care, urology, emergency medicine and respiratory care.
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Director for our Brazil operation. As the leader of our sales teams, you will be responsible for driving growth and market plans, defining objectives according to product lines and strategy for the region.
You will lead, coordinate and motivate the sales force, interacting and influencing different functional areas such as finance, operations, logistics, portfolio, demand and forecast to achieve planned sales country goals.
This position strengthens business relationships with strategic allies and implements new strategies allowing the development of new sales channels.
The Commercial Director drives the performance of each team and monitors professional relationships with different areas of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for budget and projects of growth, sales and profitability of Teleflex operation in Brazil.
* Lead, coordinate and motivate the sales force, interacting and leading by influence with different functional areas.
* Drive growth and market plans and strategies, defining objectives according to product lines and strategy for the region.
* Strengthen business relationships with strategic allies and implement new strategies allowing the development of new sales channels.
* Drive the performance of each team and monitor professional relationships with different areas of the company.
Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience leading operations preferably in medical device companies and demonstrate experience leading teams in top-tier organizations.
* Dynamic and result-oriented.
* English proficiency at an advanced level, verbal and written communication in English required.
* Professional in business or management with an MBA or postgraduate degree.
* Extensive knowledge of the medical device market in Brazil, including clients, channels and framework agreements.
* Knowledge of Brazilian Regulations, Fiscal and L&D local processes is a plus.
* Experience living in other countries is an advantage for this position.
* Solid management skills.
* Sensitive to different cultural norms.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
* Fluent in Portuguese and English, Spanish is an advantage.
* Strong communication skills (verbal and technical writing).
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Oriented to teamwork, problem solving ability, customer focus, and a commitment to quality.
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
* Experience working with web-based platforms.
* Ability to work with diverse environments and teams.
