Senior Email Marketing Designer - E-commerce Marketing AgencyThe main purpose of the Designer is to work on design-related tasks for your assigned clients and stores as part of the Service Department, with the responsibility to create quality, effective, well-designed, and impactful email marketing campaigns that convert and drive sales for our clients.As a Designer, you will work closely with Account Managers to conceptualize and design a variety of clients' marketing campaigns (including email campaigns and flows, as well as SMS/MMS campaigns and flows) that express the voice, style, look and feel, and overall design of the brand. This will involve having a deep understanding of clients' visual brand identities, communicating new ideas to the team (verbally and visually), implementing the clients' feedback in your designs for their marketing campaigns, and supporting the Account Managers and team throughout the design and editing process. In addition, you will need to be creative while following instructions in your design briefs.The Designer will report directly to the Design Lead and the Service Director, and will also work closely with other departments to ensure that all designs are created well and on time.About the Role:Mission statement:The primary mission of our Designer is to maintain the high design standards of our company by playing an active role in the design and visual creation process across our range of clients and for our marketing material.As our Designer, this will include designing a variety of clients' marketing campaigns in a way that reflects their message, brand, and style, coming up with innovative design ideas for clients' marketing campaigns, and ensuring that your design work is of the highest standard and delivered on time. This includes working on design tasks such as email banners, SMS/MMS graphics, and a variety of marketing flows and campaigns.General Responsibilities:Creating high-quality, on-brand designs for your assigned clients' email campaigns and flows, as well as SMS/MMS campaigns and flows using various professional design tools (including Figma), when and as directed by Account ManagersAssisting Account Managers with all tasks in Figma, including but not limited to creating designs, implementing edits on marketing campaigns, and helping to design professional reports when neededCreating and developing visually pleasing yet marketing-oriented and effective concepts in designUnderstanding the visual brand identity of various clients and being able to advise your Account Managers on potential design ideas, improvements, and optimizationsUnderstanding and communicating design ideas (in writing, verbally, and with the use of visuals) to other team members and clientsReceiving and implementing feedback and design changes to projects you've worked onBeing part of a team of both expert and less experienced designers and being able to work as a group if needed, and being able to stick to deadlines and deliver high-quality finished designs on timeBeing well-versed in current design platforms and software, and open to learning how to effectively and productively use new tools (such as the Klaviyo Campaign Designer)Designing marketing materials for our company's marketing efforts, when needed (including designing blog posts, social media content, and email marketing assets)Constantly educating yourself and developing your technical skills to enhance your expertiseWorking on various tasks, initiatives, and projects as delegated by our Design LeadContinuously working to improve the results from email marketing for your assigned clientsKeeping contact with your assigned clients, including assisting in and attending regular meetings with them, alongside the Account ManagersWorking with the Service Department to maintain high design standards and ensuring that the set targets for your assigned clients are met in terms of their design requirementsParticipating in the training and skill-building sessions for the Design Team within the Service Department to improve their skills, performance, and overall expertiseParticipating in the Design Team's group callsContinuously working to discover industry-wide best practices and standards and present your findings to the Design Lead, and the Service DirectorBeing available to assist with all internal design-related needs from other departmentsDirectly reporting to the Design Lead, and the Service Director (in that structural order)Positions Specs:Full-time commitment while meeting our general availability for office hoursAn average of 140 tracked hours per month consistentlyFixed-rate monthly salary paid in USDReceive contractor status after signing our non-disclosure agreementExclusivity agreement (nullifying the possibility of working in a position of a similar nature while working for Hustler Marketing)Committing to a 30-day notice period after the first monthRegular performance reviews every 9-12 months, with the first one being after 3-6 monthsRequirementsAbout you:Profile:The ideal candidate must be an experienced designer with an established portfolio showcasing elevated, effective, and on-brand designs for a variety of clients, stores, and niches. Such experience should include designing email marketing campaigns and flows, as well as design assets for SMS/MMS campaigns and flows. Having been part of a Design Team before is a must for this role.The Designer should have experience with creating marketing campaigns and using Figma, Sketch, and the Adobe Creative Suite. Experience using Klaviyo or having any agency experience is considered a plus.The Designer must be able to act swiftly upon receiving urgent requests from Account Managers and be able to work consistently with high levels of accountability. The right person will be professional and also have extensive graphic design experience, as well as strong communication, presentation, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills to effectively deliver work of high quality promptly.
