Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of our cloud environments.
Configure and manage logging systems to collect and analyze logs for troubleshooting and security purposes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect solutions, and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to optimize cloud infrastructure and improve operational efficiency.
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on cloud infrastructure-related matters.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure-related incidents in a timely manner.
Must Haves:
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code principles with hands-on experience using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar solutions.
Knowledge of logging solutions such as AWS CloudTrail, ELK stack, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to Haves:
Prior startup experience.
Experience solving insurance industry/domain-related challenges.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Knowledge of serverless computing and experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and related services
