As our Lean Portfolio Manager you will act in the connection between the tactical initiatives and the strategic direction of the company, supporting the different areas to make the best prioritization decisions.
Its main objective is to establish objective metrics and ensure the progress of initiatives in the portfolio in a sustainable way, supporting the organization's tactical execution and generating Business Agility reports.
In this position, it is expected that you will bring a clear vision of the Initiatives that are in progress, as well as those that are being inputted in the system on a daily basis, consulting with stakeholders and prioritization techniques to decide their priorities.
You will use your knowledge and position to influence Initiative owners to keep a high alignment attitude, ensuring a sustainable pace of items flowing through the pipeline from conception to delivery planning.
You will follow up on Initiatives as they move, ensuring the requirements and constraints are met, and the resulting quality of the work respects the expectation set by the framework.
As our Lean Portfolio Manager your key responsibilities will be:
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with multiple people in the organization to expand engagement with stakeholders and across different areas and teams;
- Serve as the portfolio advocate within Azion, assisting with the initiatives management as they move through the different statuses and organize the input of new ones;
- Use discrete and aggregate measures of business health to identify and highlight areas of risk, and organize key people to mitigate them;
- Engage as an Azion thought leader during the execution of strategic Initiatives to encourage the other leaders to embrace the Azion delivery best practices;
- Provide constant visibility of current and future Initiatives to all Azion areas by collecting information from the management tool, ensuring all Initiative owners are keeping their status real;
- Provide data driven guidance to decision makers to aid prioritization efforts, Strategic themes and goals setting.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Previous experiences as Portfolio Manager, Agile Coach or Product Manager within fast paced high growing startups or companies, managing product backlog from conception to delivery;
- Good communication skills and able to build a strong working relationship with various stakeholders;
- Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience;
- Fluent English.
**Desirable Qualifications**:
- Portfolio Management, Agile Coach and/or Product Manager certification;
- Understand Cloud Computing key concepts;
- Previous experience as software developer.
