Main Responsibilities
5. Develop regulatory strategies and implementation plans for the preparation and submission of new initiatives according to critical path schedule.
6. Negotiate/Influence regulatory matters with other functions to guide on compliant commercialization of consumer products and uptream initiatives/technologies.
7. Provide clear regulatory guidelines regarding local regulatory enviroment. Critically develops regulatory strategies, identifies/measures key issues/risks and develops strategic plans to address these issues. Reapplies proven regulatory strategies; previous successful approaches.
8. Manages highly demanding portfolio and product claims requiring risk anticipation and management.
9. Secures all regulatory materials are available to ensure timeliness, accuracy, comprehensiveness, or compliance with regulatory standards.
10. Work with regional teams to ensure rapid and timely approval of new products; and continued Regulatory support of marketed products.

Job Qualifications
WORK EXPERIENCE
19. Minimum: a B.S. preferably in a scientific discipline, chemistry preferred.
20. With advanced degree a minimum with at least 5 years of related work experience, with 2 or more years in regulatory affairs, quality assurance or equivalent level of education, training and experience.
21. Proven effective experience in regulatory work and interacting with regulatory authorities, agencies and Trade Associations.
22. Must be familiar with and able to identify and interpret regulations, guidelines, and other pertinent information issued by applicable regulatory bodies.
23. Preferred: An advanced degree (Masters, Pharm.D., Ph.D.).
Software, Equipment and Tools
24. Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Adobe Acrobat
25. Proficient in computer systems at a level allowing utilization of event tracking programs, data loading and information processing related to regulatory affairs.
