Job Duties:
Plans, schedules and conducts activity programs
Plans and schedules trips and outside activities; arranges for transportation and supervision
Assists in developing and printing of a newsletter that includes articles of past and future activities
Assists in planning appropriate programs for holidays and special events
Meets with each resident upon move-in to introduce the activities program and to learn of resident’s own personal interests and likes/dislikes
Designs events to meet the interests of the residents
Job Requirements:
Responds creatively to resident’s requests for programs and activities
Ability to pass a background check and eligibility for employment
Recognition of the needs and concerns of others, and the ability to build relationships with others from different backgrounds
Participates and assists in marketing and staff functions
Ability to physically meet the demands as needed
