Regulatory reporting requirements are complex, increasing in nature, and our reporting infrastructure requires upgrading to meet these requirements.
We want to strength our management of those regulatory requirements and drive the enhancement of regulatory report portfolio to attend the new requirements.
The primary function of the role is to support LATAM & Canada Regulatory lead to deliver the regulatory agenda, support the deployment of global initiatives across the region and lead region specific initiatives in Regulatory Payment Operations.
As a Project Manager within the LATAM & Canada Regulatory Lead, you will support the operations business with focus on automation projects, perform deep dive reviews and analytics.
To execute this agenda will be required a combination of project management skills, payment product experience, risk and control mindset and communication to results.
You will work with our internal stakeholders to support the implementation of regulatory agenda, help in the data strategy, be responsible of implementation of digital tools in the region and support the Global Regulatory Team over several initiatives to improve Regulatory Payment Operations governance.
We are looking for an Associate to support the implementation agenda with Latam & Canada Regulatory Operations lead.
**Key Responsibilities
- Working with LATAM & Canada Regulatory Lead and other key stakeholders in defining, prioritizing and achieve strategic objectives and ensuring regulatory projects delivered successfully meet the approved regulatory requirement and business objectives.
- Establishing solid working relationships globally and regionally to support regulatory agenda with project sponsors and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate and drive projects/programs from inception completion
- Setting up, facilitating, a/or participating in meetings with stakeholders and working groups.
- Manage with Regulatory Operations lead a portfolio of projects that include country specific, regional initiatives or global initiatives.
- Link and leverage the global PMO functions where required.
- Monitor the current KPI's & KRI's for the region.
**Skills Required**:
- 6+ years of work experience in banking industry including project management skills, business analysis and root cause analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal, organization and communications (both verbal and written) skill to influence internal stakeholders.
- Risk and control mindset, also and risk management experience will be a plus.
- Required to have presentation skills, excel advanced and experience in digital skills will be a plus.
- Ideal experience/background in banking payment product and regulations knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and must be able to work independently as part of a small high impact team.
- Possesses the ability to work on a diverse team and with a diverse range of people with highest standards of ethics and integrity
- Must be fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish
