**Job Description Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Troubleshoot & Repair**: Diagnose and repair electrical/electronic equipment, including programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipment.
- **Install & Commission**: Safely install and start-up systems following OSHA guidelines and Consilium procedures.
- **Safety & Compliance**: Advise operators on safe handling procedures for electrical/electronic equipment and comply with international/local shipping regulations and safety standards.
- **Part Sourcing & Coordination**: Identify, source, and maintain the necessary parts and tools for repairs.
Efficiently document all service activities using company-required CRM systems.
- **Technical Support**: Offer clear, accurate technical guidance to service managers, sales teams, and customers, both in person and remotely.
- **Training & Team Support**: Assist with training co-workers and customers, contributing to the continuous growth of the team.
- **Cost-Effective Travel & Logistics**: Coordinate travel and lodging in a cost-effective manner, adhering to budget guidelines.
- **Safety First**: Maintain a clean, safe work environment, actively contributing to accident prevention and safety initiatives.
- **Additional Duties**: Perform other related tasks as required.
**Preferred Education & Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical/electronics.
- Prior experience in the marine industry is a plus.
- Strong background in PLC programming and computer operations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced technical environment and make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and teamwork skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Fluency in English is essential.
**Work Hours**:
This is a full-time position.
Flexibility is key, as evening and weekend work may be required on short notice based on job demands.
**Supervisory Responsibilities**:
May include leading teams of installation professionals, technicians, and vessel crews on-site.
**Work Environment**:
- Occasional exposure to extreme conditions (loud noise, outdoor weather).
- Work is performed in varying environments, including on-site and in vessels.
**Travel Requirements**:
Expect extensive travel, both domestic and international.
Shared accommodations may be required during travel.
**Physical Requirements**:
The role involves physical labor including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 30 pounds or more, and climbing.
Vision requirements include near and far vision, color perception, and the ability to focus.
