The BR FBA Head of Analytics is responsible for leading and managing the data analysis, business intelligence, and forecasting efforts for the Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) business. This strategic role oversees a team of talented analysts and BI specialists to drive data-driven decision making and provide critical insights to optimize the FBA operations.

Team Leadership and Management:
Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing team of data analysts, BI specialists, and forecasting experts.
Develop clear goals, KPIs, and career development plans for the team members.

Hire, train, and mentor team members to build a world-class analytics organization.
Strategic Data & Insights Leadership:
Partner with FBA business leaders to define the analytics strategy and roadmap.
Identify key business questions and translate them into actionable data and analytics initiatives.
Oversee the development of comprehensive reporting, dashboards, and advanced data models.
Derive critical insights from data to drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and revenue growth.
Communicate analysis findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
Business Intelligence & Forecasting:
Establish a centralized BI platform to consolidate data from multiple sources.
Develop robust forecasting models to predict FBA performance and inform strategic planning.
Ensure data governance, quality, and security across the organization.
Empower FBA stakeholders with self-service BI capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align forecasts and optimize inventory, cash flow, and resource allocation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with FBA operations, inventory, finance, and other teams to align on data, insights, and decision-making.
Serve as a strategic advisor and thought leader, advocating for the use of data to drive business impact.
Represent the analytics function in leadership meetings and cross-functional initiatives.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data, analytics, and BI.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., data science, statistics, operations research, or computer science)
10+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and forecasting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Proven track record of building and leading high-performing analytics teams
Expertise in SQL, Python, data visualization, and advanced statistical modeling
Strong business acumen and the ability to translate technical insights into strategic recommendations
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Experience in the e-commerce or retail industry is preferred
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of team management experience
- 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
