The LACAN Meetings Manager will be responsible for managing the strategic meetings management program for Amgen in the LACAN region (5 affiliates.)
Development and ownership of LACAN meetings program
Deliver best practice process support for the delivery of all non-congress events (including full logistics support inc. registration, data and finance)
Work with Global & ELMAC GMM Leadership to develop and implement strategy
Manage compliance to Global Meetings Policy in LACAN
Manage regional budget and data reporting management, data integrity & validation of savings, QBR's & KPI's
Ensure Cvent technology is in place for all ELMAC meetings and supports the C3 transition
Support Agency management for LACAN
Lead QBR's
Management of venue find services provided by agency
Agency travel approvals
Training
Agency issues escalation and identification of developmental needs
Ensure agency(s) is developing and executing effective programs within scope, on time and within budget
Key contact with medical associations ensuring adherence to applicable rules and regulations, as needed
Deliver consultancy services and best practice process support for the delivery of new Amgen initiatives and program adoption.
Manage the strategic meetings management program (operations) for Amgen in the LACAN region (5 affiliates - Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Mexico)
Ensure spend data is captured accurately in meeting management technology platform (Cvent Super User)
Ensure roles & responsibilities are clear when working with multiple agencies
Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures by both the budget owners and all outside agencies
Monitor and report to management compliance to internal and external policies
Provides expert guidance on best practices for meetings & events
Development and ownership of SMMP process development and training for meetings program
Partner with business on developing and executing program objectives (data, etc.)
Drive the accountability of compliance with internal Amgen policies and procedures to ensure consistency, operational efficiencies and integration within audit requirements.
Collaborate with business partners to identify areas for continuous organizational improvements
Work closely with GMM team on process improvements and strategic initiatives
