About the Role
The Site Leader is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations and functions at the site. They manage and lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, focusing on performance objectives, employee relations, and leadership development within the Sorting Center.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop quality initiatives, process improvements, and Lean strategies to exceed business goals.
2. Ensure overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience in Inbound, Processing, or Outbound operations.
3. Define requirements, measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Operations and Area Managers accountable.
4. Leverage Operations and Area Managers to source and develop improvement ideas.
5. Promote best practices across departments, shifts, and the network.
6. Collaborate with support teams to secure resources for projects and initiatives.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
2. Experience leading people and shop floor operations.
3. English language proficiency for communication.
4. Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics.
