The role The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with Brazilian tax laws and regulations. Working closely with internal teams, the Accountant oversees financial operations, prepares and analyzes financial statements, and ensures the company's financial transparency and accuracy.
As Our Accountant You Will: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with Brazilian tax laws (SPED, ICMS, PIS, COFINS, ISS, etc.).Prepare and analyze financial statements (DRE, Balanço Patrimonial, Fluxo de Caixa).Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.Maintain internal financial controls and accounting procedures.Prepare and analyze the company's accountant closing to ensure accuracy and transparencyDevelop accounting reports to support decision-making; The ideal profile We're on the lookout for someone who not only shares our values and ambitions but also envisions growing alongside MoveUp Media. Bachelor's degree in Accounting;Active CFC and CRC certification;Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience in Brazil;Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax regulations, accounting principles and financial reporting standards;Proficiency in accounting software (Knowledge of the Odoo system is a plus);Fluent in English and Portuguese;Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS);Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial analysis tools;In-depth knowledge of tax and fiscal regulations in brazil;Strong analytical skills, organization, and attention to detail.
