Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Product Manager - Cargill Nutrition Cloud will lead and provide direction to managers, professionals and indirect staff that will analyze business problems to be solved with automated systems. In this role, you will lead, advise, and make decisions to help the team provide technical expertise to identify, evaluate and develop systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. The Cargill Nutrition Cloud is a digital platform that is used by both Cargill and Cargill Animal Nutrition’s customers to access nutritional services across multiple capabilities including ingredient sampling and nutrient analysis, selecting the best suppliers based on nutrition and cost, identifying feed supply chain and feed formulation. This role will be responsible for evolving the product vision and strategy as well as working with a team of product owners and other stakeholders to grow adoption and usage of the platform globally. Key Accountabilities
Works across the ANH enterprise organization including SMT, RMS, IT as well as regional commercial leaders and directly with customers to understand product and market needs and plan and prioritize those needs to match opportunity size.
Oversee general workforce administration policies and programs.
Lead and monitor the use of existing solution versions ensuring team is driving, advocating, and guiding the use of existing solutions.
Approve and assess more complex business model design plans for development.
Act as tactical leader throughout a moderate subset of the organization to ensure the processes and systems support the business.
Integrate more complex process areas, including data, education and security across a moderate subset of the organization.
Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of six years of related work experience
Demonstrated experience delivering software products in web, mobile, IoT or analytics technologies
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, create a vision and execute on that vision
Demonstrated ability to lead through influence both directly and indirectly
Demonstrated knowledge of agile development processes PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Three years of supervisory experience
Experience in the animal feed or production industry related to livestock (beef, dairy, pork, or poultry)
Experience as a formulator for animal feed or premix
Experience and demonstrated knowledge of Cargill Nutritional System (CNS) or other industry nutrition systems
Master’s degree in business or related field
Experience participating in the marketing and sales process
