Job Description Summary
The Workforce Planning Program Manager – Power segment will be responsible for designing and executing key workforce planning initiatives within the Power segment. The key objective is to enable sustainable long-term growth for the business through robust workforce planning. The role emphasizes program management and cohesive reporting across various areas of impact. The role requires the incumbent to build an in-depth understanding of all businesses across the power segment to drive business value through key workforce planning initiatives. This person will contribute as a member of the extended HR staff for the power segment, as well as a key member of the GE Vernova Workforce Planning & Analytics team. Further, they will regularly report and present in key leadership forums like Monthly Operating Reviews.
Job Description
What you’ll do:
This role will focus on three key areas:
Capacity Hiring:
1. Define hiring forecast, communicate, track and report capacity hiring across key focus areas in close partnership with Talent Acquisition and respective segments, in close alignment with short- and medium-term budget and resourcing plans.
2. Build and automate sustainable tracking and reporting mechanism for various leadership forums and audiences.
3. Identify key areas of process improvement in the areas of workforce and TA demand planning.
4. Activate hiring demand signals on an iterative basis and convey to TA CoE. Assess achievement of business hiring plans and needs and where needed, engage with the business and the CoEs to drive performance.
Talent Sharing & Redeployment:
1. Facilitate talent sharing and redeployment across the power segment in close collaboration with Talent Management and Talent Acquisition COE.
2. Conduct evaluations of all sources of resourcing including building, buying, borrowing, and automation and make recommendations to the business.
3. Perform cost-benefit analyses to optimize for sustainable delivery and cost.
Workforce Planning for Sustainable Growth:
1. Contribute to Medium and long terms workforce planning efforts directly linked to Gas Power Hoshin objectives.
2. Focus on level of resourcing for 2025+ and quality of resourcing for 2026+.
3. Lead deployment including change management of new tools and processes as needed to enable medium term workforce planning.
In order to drive the above priorities, Workforce Planning Program Manager is expected to:
1. Lead through Lean Operating System of translating long term strategic imperatives to short and medium term KPIs, operating rhythms to track progress, problem solving, lead continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizens / PSRs, designing and driving standard work, participate in value stream mapping.
2. Coordinates with key stakeholders like Sr. HRMs, Centers of Excellence (TA, TM, WFA, TR), lean and operational leaders across the business.
3. Work closely with the GE Vernova Workforce Planning & Analytics COE to leverage existing reporting & analytics platform as well as collaborate on further development of the same.
4. Provide strategic direction through a clear roadmap, and drive execution through program management for each initiative.
5. Facilitates learning and adoption of new or existing tools and processes required to drive these priorities.
6. Define clear targets and KPIs, Identifies opportunities for improvement in key processes, hand-offs, R&R.
7. Contribute to new technology solution enablement and adoption.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications):
1. Bachelor’s Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources, Workforce Planning and related program management or other related field.
3. For Applicants in Brazil: Bachelor's Degree Required.
4. For Applicants in Brazil: Significant experience in Human Resources, Workforce Planning and related program management or other related field.

16. Actively seeks out expertise and best practice, related to own area of contribution.
Pay Transparency:
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is 122,400.00 - 203,900.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 15% annual performance incentive.
