Position Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in electrical/energy engineering; preferably master’s degree in electrical, renewable/solar energy or power generation.
* Proved knowledge of the PV market and the energetic laws of the region.
* Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience with companies in the photovoltaic field.
* Ability to work in a multinational organization.
* Proficiency in English is a must, plus native knowledge of the local language.
Position Aim
The Technical Service Manager will be responsible for all pre-sale and after-sale technical service and consultation within Brazil. The position will be part of a global team focused on managing customer onsite claims, problem solving with both internal and external customers, and communicating all technical information to the headquarters. The Technical Service Manager will be responsible for working closely with customers and the commercial teams to resolve any technical issues or doubts.
Position Responsibilities
* Responsible for Pre-and After-Sales technical service and consultation to all Latin American and Italy Sales Teams and Customers
* Technical point of contact for Production and R&D
* Managing Customer onsite claims, failure analysis, and problem solving in close cooperation with internal resources
* Contact with regional laboratories and institutes
* Organize and manage technical training to internal employees of the Company and external customers
* PV system analysis of DC and AC side, support in PV Design if required
* Provide support to the headquarters’ Technical Service department
* Work as part of a dynamic team to meet customer needs
* Take on ad-hoc projects as instructed by the Headquarters/company management
* Travel frequently to visit clients and attend exhibitions and conferences
* Assist other markets as needed at the request of the headquarters/company management.
* Provide other technical support as instructed by the headquarters/company management
