Job Purpose and Impact
The Master Data Specialist will serve as a communication liaison between the project team and the business team, being part of the business project team and acting as a business owner for a master data object, as a material master, customer master or vendor master.
In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and specifying cross-functional business requirements and re-design and set up of the material master data accordingly, as part of the enterprise resource planning system implementation.
You will also be responsible for data mapping, data cleansing, data construction, data validation and the set up of the master data maintenance process.
Key Accountabilities
- Plan, coordinate, execute and review data conversion activities including data conversion design, data cleansing, data construction, data enrichment, data validation and defect resolution.
- Analyze and understand the existing set up of the master data in the legacy system landscape and gather and specify the future requirements for the master data, taking into account the based inputs of all process streams and understanding the up and downstream system impact.
- Train and support local business to enable them to perform data cleansing, data construction and data validation.
- Acts as skilled support contact between the information technology development group and business and function for the development and implementation of new technology.
- Provide general insight into data project objectives and scope to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget and within scope and provide analysis of variances from the project plan, compile alternatives, and execute on the preferred and approved recommendations.
- Provide a routine status of the workstream project activities and actively manage issues and risks associated with the workstream.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with mínimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field;
- Work experience in SAP Implementations;
- Experience with JDE for SAP;
- Advanced Excel;
- Advanced/Fluent English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within material master data domain;
- Experience in data conversion and data mapping;
- Demonstrated strong project management skills;
- Intermediate Spanish;
- Power BI and knime.
