Job Title: D&T Finance Coordinator
Location: Pouso Alegre, MG Brazil
Work model: 100% in office
Reports To: Sr. Manager D&T Finance Latam
As the Finance Coordinator for Distribution & Transportation, you will be responsible for planning and control for logistics operations and relations with 3PL providers for Brazil. You will also manage the budget of general expenses for the regions, including control, reports, and preparation of variance analysis, ensuring all operations comply with Newell policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and enhance Logistics/Supply Chain finance across LATAM segments, ensuring excellent service and cross-training.
2. Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses for Logistics/Supply Chain, Brand, and Corporate Finance.
3. Partner with SC Finance Manager on inventory targets, KPIs, and daily inventory financial management.
4. Oversee physical stock takes and manage Distribution & Transportation operating costs.
5. Evaluate capital projects and develop cost transparency tools and reports.
6. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for Brazil operations.
7. Drive cost reduction initiatives, improve logistics forecast accuracy, and ensure productivity goals.
8. Foster internal customer relationships to resolve costing issues.
9. Implement process improvements and controls for scrap and distribution failures.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, math or related field.
2. Solid experience in financial support logistics, operational and business partnering roles, with strong background in Distribution and Transportation operations.
3. Data Analysis skills, experienced in working on KPI’s development and analysis.
4. Strong technical accounting and financial skills.
5. Strong Excel skills, TOTVS- Datasul, PowerBI user.
6. Advanced to fluent level of English.
7. Full availability to work 100% in-office.
8. Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to respond under pressure.
9. Experience of working in cross-functional teams within a matrix environment desirable.
10. Flexible and open-minded, quick to adapt to changing requirements.
