Job DescriptionIn your role as Process Development Material Technologies Engineer:You develop new process technologies for mixing and/or extrusion to produce advanced material technologies for Continental Tires, ensuring optimal performance, quality, and productivity.You specify and release new mixing/extrusion processes in a production environment, collaborating closely with our plants and other development departments.You define process requirements crucial for the upgrade and procurement of mixing/extrusion production equipment.You engage in structured problem-solving, supporting plants, Material-PI, and other groups with your expertise in mixing/extrusion processes.You lead and participate in multidisciplinary projects and task forces.QualificationsAcademic degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Engineering, Material Science, or a comparable field.You are a strong team player with excellent communication skills at various levels.You possess analytical and academic thinking.You are self-organized and able to work autonomously.You have project management skills and are capable of leading cross-functional, international teams.Proficiency in English, both verbal and written; Portuguese language skills are advantageous.A background in rubber processing, preferably in mixing and/or extrusion, is valued.You have an affinity for IT development topics.You are willing to travel internationally.Company DescriptionContinental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
