We are looking for an experienced project manager and electrical and automation engineer with experience in water treatment and O&G projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing oil and gas facilities and large-scale water treatment infrastructure projects, with a solid understanding of electrical and automation engineering principles, control systems, and automation technologies used in water treatment processes. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and execution of electrical and automation components of projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, schedules, and budgets. Also involves post-sale support with the customers.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage water treatment projects from concept to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
* Oversee the electrical and automation design, installation, and commissioning of water treatment systems, including electrical distribution, motor control systems, SCADA, PLC, and instrumentation.
* Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource requirements, coordinating with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
* Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that electrical and automation systems and components are optimized for efficient water treatment operations.
* Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to identify project requirements and constraints.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards in all aspects of the project and implementation.
* Collaborate with procurement teams to obtain necessary electrical and automation materials, equipment, and services for the project.
* Manage project documentation, including design specifications, contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
* Report project status to stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and senior management, and address any issues or risks promptly.
* Troubleshoot electrical, automation, and control systems and provide solutions during project execution and post-project phases.
Qualifications
* Technician or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in electrical and automation engineering and project management, with a focus on water treatment projects.
* Strong knowledge of electrical and automation systems, including PLC programming, SCADA systems, motor controls, instrumentation, and control panels.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
* Fluent in English (written and verbal communication).
